Discussion

• KVFinder pocket finder distribution
  • PyPi KVFinder package is GPL licensed.
  • Runs fast, seconds.
  • 3 options to distribute: 1) put in ChimeraX distribution getting license exception, 2) web services, 3) bundle on Toolshed.
  • Eric favors bundle on Toolshed.
  • A fourth option is to pip install KVFinder when the user tries to use it, not including it in ChimeraX.

• Tristan's Trac account expired
  • Greg will get it working again

• ChimeraX release candidates
  • Wynton downtime is week of October 14
  • Propose October 21 release candidate
  • Qt 6.8 out October 3.
  • There are 21 active tickets milestoned for 1.9.
  • Mac Sequoia out today (macOS 15).

• Plato update to Rocky 9
  • Greg suggests Wynton downtime could be chance to update to Rocky 9.

• ScholAR documentation
  • Tyler says ScholAR tool looks ready, needs documentation.
  • Piet will give info to Elaine to document.
  • It will be available on Toolshed.
