• Tristan, bundle version number not reported correctly. Ticket #9873
• Log slow to update when it gets long, Tristan ticket #9909
• Create Grafana dashboards to monitor web services.
• ViewDockX port to Qt progress
• How long should code commits be added to release branch after release?
• Make Chimera end-of-life bug report and registration changes for 1.18 release in Spring 2024.
• Back up the Chimera build machine to a solid state drive, Windows 7.
• ChimeraX Ideas milestone clean-up.

Discussion

• ChimeraX 1.7 release
  • Decided to make release as soon as Greg is able (today or tomorrow).
  • Elaine will write announcement for announce mailing list and Tom will tweet about release.

• University of Wyoming INBRE workshop
  • David Fay, associate director of NIH INBRE resource center at U Wyoming interested in a ChimeraX / AlphaFold workshop and help setting up AlphaFold for their users.

• Mac notarization
  • Eric got a new signing certificate for Mac notarization of ChimeraX and Chimera, now working.
  • Got an errSecInternalComponent message initially that required trying codesign by hand on console to see warning that it needed permission to use private key. Then press Always Allow.

• Scenes
  • Eric has started working on scenes API for R01 grant.

• Backup tape robotics
  • Back tape robotics working again, but may break at any time.
  • Eric says it usually fails when swapping out tapes.
