• 1.3 release
  • Reviewed 5 tickets milestoned 1.3
  • One ticket is new, fixing linux ffmpeg not finding libbz2.so.1.0. Greg proposes compiling ffmpeg on Linux. All agree.
  • Branch on Monday Oct 4
  • First release candidate Monday Oct 11, when Greg back from vacation

• Version numbering for release candidates
  • Decided we can use version 1.3rc20211011 type version numbers for release candidates.
  • Did not use rc version numbers for 1.2 release due to pip dependency issue.
  • Having rc in version helps automatically build download page.
  • Toolshed bundles like ISOLDE will need to list dependency as 1.3rc2021 in order to be installable with release candidates if they wish to get testing against release candidates. Seems acceptable to everyone.
