Description
Not a bug, but useful info for people that want to run ChimeraX on a remote virtual desktop. Just tried it out and confirmed working perfectly using VirtualGL (https://virtualgl.org/) using my Linux box as server and MacBook Air as client. Not a complete solution for everyone - server side is Linux only, Mac client requires XQuartz, Windows cleint requires Cygwin - but for those willing to put in a little effort up front the result is really quite smooth. 

Server side just has to have VirtualGL installed (simple yum install for CentOS 7); client side either runs `vglconnect {address}` or `vglclient` and then `ssh -X {address}` in a separate window, then `vglrun chimerax` in the ssh instance.

VirtualGL also works with x2goclient if x2goserver is installed on the remote system. And nomachine is distributed with VirtualGL. VirtualGL, as currently implemented, has a small security hole, so server admins need to install it carefully and educate the users. I agree this would be useful information. Not sure if this should be in the user's manual or just the web site. And then there's the issue that the version of VirtualGL in EPEL for CentOS 7 is out of date.

Limitation: gets extremely slow when the server puts its own displays to sleep.

According to https://twitter.com/toni___g/status/1405613132467347461?s=20, tigervnc-standalone-server on Ubuntu is able to run ChimeraX in a pure virtual remote desktop.
