• New Linux hardware configuration
  • Greg suggests consider workstation nvidia graphics, A6000, 48 GB, $5000
  • TomG had in mind $5000 machine with RTX 3090 consumer card once GPU prices settle.
  • Linux machine learning devel machine not urgent. Much work to do with Google Colab and on Wynton.

• Release 1.3
  • Several blast bugs need fixing -- aim for code freeze next Thursday (Sept 23).
  • Remilestone 3 enhancement tickets to 1.4
  • Greg will look mostly at devel install not handling PyPi dependency, #5157
  • Eric says he has no bugs to work on, may add bond length gui to build tool.

• Mac Qt bug about recreated window
  • Zach sees this bug restoring a session that has blast gui
  • TomG saw same bug a month ago when changing tool undocking.
  • TomG will look at Zach's case.

• cxservices
  • Where should source code live?
  • Don't need to answer this question until after 1.3 release.
  • Zach busy with bugs, so defer this until after 1.3 is out.

• Sphinx programmer doc formatting
  • Zach committed new sphinx plugins, in current develop branch
  • Improved a few doc strings and others look fine
  • Will provide an example of desirable doc string format after 1.3.
