• Chimera account password
  • plato will use only ssh keys. Greg can add keys.
  • Workstations will use a new password.
  • UCSF requires at least 12 characters and from 3 groups from lowe case, upper case, numbers, symbols.
  • Whoever comes up with a password first can tell others the new password.
  • Anyone can change the workstation chimera password to the new one.

• Windows signing
  • Greg will change the Windows ChimeraX code signing password.
  • Greg will figure out how to prevent the signtool.exe from revealing the password.

• ChimeraX download web page improvements
  • Want to make the table of download more compact
  • Could make each distribution a single line by moving other info to a disclosure triangle or link.
  • Could make download page offer just the downloads for the platform specified by the user's browser agent info. Zach offered to look into this.

• RBVI web page improvements
  • Zach noticed some issues with the RBVI web site that can be improved.
    • rbvi.ucsf.edu shows as “Not Secure” in Chrome but cgl.ucsf.edu does not
    • Entire website is plain HTML — Move to framework?
    • rbvi.ucsf.edu/Outreach is not accessible from any other page and has a different set of links than other pages e.g. “Visitors” vs “Visit Us”
    • Outreach also has a different footer
    • Resources -> Acceptable Use -> Privacy Policy — Is this linked to from anywhere else?
    • Clicking on the image of Mission Bay in the Visit Us page leads to a broken link
  • ChimeraX site
    • Mac build documentation
    • ‘Distro’ python package cited as ‘Antergos Linux’ on ChimeraX packages
  • Zack is willing to work on some of the web site problems
  • Some issues will need consultation with Tom Ferrin.

• Google indexing mailing list
  • Greg has fixed daily rebuilding of sitemap.txt file that tells Google to index mailing list.
  • Will see tonight if new index is built.
  • Greg thinks Google is not indexing pages because they are not mobile friendly.
  • Current Mailman mailing list software may be better at making mobile friendly pages.
  • Plato is on old CentOS 7 where Mailman package is several years behind.

Action Items

• Make Updates tool started from menu Tools / Utilities / Updates show only updates, not all available bundles - Greg
• Change milestone on all 1.2 enhancement tickets that won't be in 1.2 to milestone 1.3 - Greg
• Check that all Toolshed bundles that install in 1.2 actually start -- add core<1.2 dependency to those that fail - Greg
