For reference, did you install the CentOS 7 rpm, the CentOS 8 rpm, or the tarball? Of the three, the CentOS 8 rpm is the mostly to work.

Bug is that the package dependencies are listed without a version number. Normally that is not an issue because Red Hat keeps the OS packages compatible for all versions of a particular major release. But in the case, the rpm is being used on a difference OS (Fedora 35 instead of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8), and the package version number matters.

Please try the CentOS/RHEL 9 rpm of ChimeraX. They are currently available for the daily build and the 1.4 release candidate. It works with Fedora 36.
