chimerax not starting

I'm trying to run chimerax on ubuntu 16.04. I'm connecting remotely to this system (using fastx) and the GUI used is xfce4. I see the splash screen, but then the program crashes with this message. What am I missing? Thanks so much.

Unfortunately, remote display is not a high priority at this point of development for ChimeraX. The error messages suggests that OpenGL cannot be initialized for that particular set of context parameters. I can only suggest checking with FastX documentation as to how to troubleshoot OpenGL issues. Sorry.
