Corrupted log window

Description

After running the following commands by hand in the command-line the log panel is corrupted with only the right half of the panel showing text. The left half flickers when scrolling between text and blank.

open 4hhb
split ligand chain
close
open 4hhb
split ligand chain

Tested with status() routine returning immediately, so does not seem related to status line processing of events.

Tested with View.draw() returning with doing nothing and no bug occurred.

Maybe be caused by Qt using the ChimeraX OpenGL graphics context, or ChimeraX using the Qt OpenGL context by mistake.

Status: assigned → closed

No longer observe this bug. Some changes have occurred to reduce chance of using wrong OpenGL context.
