Description
I tried "split ligands" on 2gbp (1 glucose ligand) and 4hhb (4 heme ligands) and in both cases got a message "did not split, has only one piece"

Fixed.
The split command was added long ago before there was ligand classification, so it wasn't handling ligands.
All options can be combined.

Also tried "split ligands chains" on 4hhb, which works in Chimera to make 8 submodels. In ChimeraX it gives the "did not split" message and doesn't even do the chains part, although "split chains" will work. Are combinations of the options supposed to work in ChimeraX?
