surface color value on mouseover replaced by chain info in status line

There is dueling information sent to the status line. It is very hard to carefully put the cursor in just the right place on the surface to get the value that you want to know and then whip it away really quickly so it doesn't get replaced in the status line by the chain info. Maybe the value should instead go to the Log or a secondary status area.

Strangely, when I started a second ChimeraX window (but didn't do anything else with that second instance other than leave it on top with the mouse focus in it, slightly overlapping the first window), this problem stopped, and the original window's mouseovers would stably show the value in the status line. That might be something weird specific to my laptop, however.

The surface value reporting updates very rapidly for rapid user feedback when comparing values at nearby positions so logging that I don't think would be good. I think since the user asked for these surface values it should just suppress the status line chain info. Another choice would be to use the secondary status but the location of that is again difficult for a user since you put the values farther from where the mouse pointer is. I don't know if it will be easy to suppress the chain info.

If any other application (including another ChimeraX) has the focus then the chain info is not shown while the surface value is shown. The focus window does not need to be overlapped with ChimeraX. So that is a work-around.
