Description

In addition to bugs #370 and #374, here are some things that could possibly be improved with the Help viewer:

  1. there is no field to enter a URL, or even just to show the URL of what you are viewing
  2. search field is confusing because it is in the place where one would normally enter an URL, and "search" is inside that field instead of in front of it. If you erase the "search" then there is no indicator of what it is. Maybe there could be "Search:" before it? If there were an URL entry field, the current search field behavior would be less confusing, though.
  3. cannot refresh (e.g. after editing the HTML file it is showing)

I hesitate to say this is merely an RFE because at the very least, I think it should show the URL of whatever you are viewing.

"C" is fixed because now there is a nice refresh icon (in addition to the context menu that was less obvious).

There is still a problem where clicking on an external link does not update history, so the back button does not work once you leave the first page

Yay! So much nicer, thanks. I'll close this as fixed since the not-going-back problem is already a separate ticket #370... of course you can reopen if you disagree.
