Description
The ChimeraX Downloads web page does not show the table of downloads on the first screen, it requires scrolling. Currently there is a list of rather insignificant changes taking up space that I think should be eliminated.
Release 1.0 new features include:
shape command
peptide building
Tools menu entry to show chain sequences
semantically versioned API for developers
smaller Windows installer that includes necessary Visual C++ runtime
It is enough to have a link to the change log.

Actually I don't think any of the info under Production Releases justifies needing to scroll the page. All the valuable info that it is 1.0 and the release date is in the table. I suggest getting rid of all the following text, and having Elaine at a change log link next to "Platform Notes" above. Elaine worked hard to reduce the download page size so the tables were on the first page, and it has been defeated by all this extra low-value text.
Remove:
"Production releases provide a stable platform for extension bundles in the ChimeraX Toolshed. Post-release, new features and bug fixes will be available from the Toolshed and/or daily builds.
