This error is probably a bug in either the Qt window toolkit or Apple's AMD graphics driver. The error message says it is trying to render some text in the status line at the bottom of the ChimeraX window and the OpenGL graphics context is somehow invalid. I suspect this an Qt bug because I have seen the same error reported on Linux. Just a few lines before the error occured ChimeraX successfully asks Qt to make the graphics context current and then it fails trying to use it.

I don't have any solution for this.

If you know a recipe to reproduce this error I am interested in hearing it since that might allow me to find a way to work-around the Qt bug.
