Description
Since the right-button mouse modes are mutually exclusive, it would be really helpful if there were some visual indicator on the mouse-mode icons of which one is active (like a colored outline or a recessed appearance).

Just realized that the paradigm of “only one can be active at a time” only applies to the actual right mouse button or trackpad equivalent outside of VR, so this may need rethinking. In VR, you could have multiple functions assigned to different buttons of the two hand-controllers (up to 6).

In the toolbar interface, the active mouse mode is "highlighted" with a light green background.

Just adding myself to the CC list - ISOLDE has three different right-mouse-button icons (for setting different tugging modes), and I'd like to ensure it plays nicely with this.
