I'm also don't understand your error. It is a problem with the OpenGL graphics. You reported the same problem with an older graphics driver and now you get it with a much newer graphics driver. It seems very unlikely that both graphics drivers would have this problem.

Has ChimeraX ever worked on this computer? Possibly if it has worked before something has become corrupted in the ChimeraX settings that causes the graphics error. Seems unlikely.

Do you have more than one display for this computer? If so, try starting with just one display connected.

Can you try using the ChimeraX daily build? That uses a newer version of the Qt window toolkit (version 6.6 instead of 6.3 in ChimeraX 1.7) and that is what creates the OpenGL graphics context.

ChimeraX works on thousands of windows machines and I don't see anything unusual about your computer in the report except for the language default being "Locale: pt_PT.cp1252". I don't think that could be the cause. Your RTX 3060 graphics is very common.

Are you running Windows 11 under a virtual machine? That could certainly cause graphics problems.
