We don't support running ChimeraX remotely. You should copy your data to your computer and run ChimeraX locally.

That said, ChimeraX can work remotely. But remote 3D graphics hasn't worked reliably since the SGI workstation days. I've seen it work if the local and remote computers have the same version of Linux, same graphics card, and same version of the graphics driver. It can work if you use VirtualGL on the remote computer to convert all of the 3D graphics to 2D images. It has worked for me on Windows using the cygwin X11 server. You'll have to experiment.
