The following bug report has been submitted:
Platform:        Darwin-17.7.0-x86_64-i386-64bit
ChimeraX Version: 0.8 (2018-11-03)
Description
Created a session using 1id3, used nucleotides to add ladders between DNA strands, then added a transparent surface around the DNA.  Saved the session and then got a traceback when I attempted to reopen the session.

Fixed.

Change made a week ago to allow measuring enclosed volume of molecular surface broke molecular surface session restore. Fixed.
