• Chimera not working with macOS 26, graphics pane positioned over command-line.

• Back up the Chimera build machine to a solid state drive, Windows 7.

Discussion

• Chimera macOS 26
  • Failure to import pyopengl fixed.
  • Graphics is positioned covering command-line and status line.
  • Eric found hovering mouse over window frame maximize button fixes graphics positioning.
  • Still working on discovering how that fixes the position in order to put a work-around in the code.

• Chimera Windows build machine James
  • Build machine was running so slowly that nightly build did not complete in days.
  • Login is also extremely slow.
  • Suspected disk partial failure.
  • Next step is to test my moving disk to another Windows machine (Boxx machine in test lab) and seeing if reads are extremely slow.
  • If disk is ok but James hardware is failing the switch build to Boxx machine with working disk.
  • If disk is failing, may have no way to restore Chimera Windows build since we don't have a backup of the ancient Windows development environment.

• ChimeraX Trac corrupted
  • Greg rebuilt the ChimeraX Trac MySQL database.
  • Was giving "Unknown error" stack trace when trying to view active tickets.

• PySide bugs
  • Zach will try Qt 6.9.3 when it is released to see if it fixes any of our PySide 6 bugs.
  • Tom thinks the crash closing tools with status lines may be worked around by delaying deletion of status line QWindow.
  • Zach will transfer ticket to Tom to work on it.
