• UCSF IT Security
  • Discussion of UCSF IT "science zone" for less encumbering security regimen.
  • UCSF IT proposed proxy server "DMZ zone" will only address web services, not general computer access.

• ffmpeg update
  • Greg updated ffmpeg prebuilt versions on all platforms.

• Rocky 10 builds failing
  • Rocky 10 build failing to download AmberTools from plato.
  • Zach says Ambertools should be cached by github actions.
  • Greg will fix github actions script to make sure ambertools is cached.

• Animations custom init
  • Zach will use get method to get the Animation manager so a custom init is not needed.

• Release date
  • Zach will make release on Monday December 15 provided no serious problems in release candidate arise this week.

• PyQt 6.10.1
  • We will update PyQt in daily build after new years.
  • Keeping Qt version the same as release candidate until then may help us debug release problems using daily development branch.
