• ChimeraX 1.8 release candidate
  • Eric has checked in 3 fixes on 1.8 branch
  • Tom checked in one and will check in another today for AlphaFold 3 PAE plots.
  • Need to remilestone Greg's 1.8 tickets that won't part of 1.8 and figure out which need to be done for 1.8.

• Label key rendering
  • Eric fixed clipping and alignment issues with label color keys.

• Electron tomography membrane complexes
  • Tom met with Shawn Zheng last week to discuss ways to visualize membrane complexes in tomograms by projecting density from several planes onto a small square 2d image near the clicked membrane location.

• Deep mutational scan labels
  • Tom meeting prof Willow Coyote-Maestas on Wednesday to discuss residue labels that show deep mutational scan data.
