Discussion
- Wynton downtime results
- Had to replace a ZFS failed RAID disk.
- fsck did not complete and was killed on Friday.
- Set group id by default on beegfs now so new files in a directory get the same group id. Helps with disk quota.
- Forgot to notify all CGL email users in advance.
- Plato local NAS disk
- Could only connect to a 1 Gbit interface. Have 10 Gbit hardware ordered.
- Will be able NFS mount NAS onto Wynton so data is available on Wynton. Other labs use this capability.
- Trac sqlite to mysql
- Greg worked on it last Monday.
- Conversion failing possibly because an attachment is too large.
- Emoji in a summary line broke conversion.
- Eric gets database locked Trac errors, especially bad when email2trac fails.
- email2trac fails to recognize subject line
- Eric has seen a case where subject line containing Chinese characters encoded as utf-8 that does not match original Trac ticket.
- Greg says to send any example and maybe email2trac can be fixed.
- ChimeraX 1.9 release candidates
- Everyone ready to start release candidates and branch code.
- Zach will try making the branch tomorrow.
- Zach says 1.8 branch was never merged to master. He will merge it.
- Tristan build problem #15897
- Tristan asked today why dependency conflicts do not appear until end of build.
- Zach says hard to reproduce because Tristan's git repository has different 2 month old code.
- Piet asks about license at top of code
- Yes add standard ChimeraX license code to scenes code.
- ScholAR code is on Toolshed so may not need license. It is in separate RBVI repository.
