• Download web page
  • Zach should commit is improved download page that shows just the distribution for the users operating system.
  • Zach would like buildinfo.py cgi script to return json instead of xml for making download web page. Greg says that is fine.
  • Greg would eventually like automatic download page generation for production builds and older releases which are currently edited by hand.
  • Future work can hide checksums and extra info to make download page simpler

• Task manager
  • Eric says there is a Task class and a derived Job class in ChimeraX. Task creates separate thread.
  • Eric says blast is using Job, probably Modeller also.
  • We do not have a GUI for tasks. GUI is not especially a high priority.
  • Support for canceling tasks may not be written yet. Requires more study of code.

• CZI PyPi project
  • Aim is to make a ChimeraX PyPi wheel offering non-UI functionality
  • TomG would also like toolshed install command to be able to install PyPi modules for developers. Current install process is obscure and platform specific.
  • Greg suggests pip installs could have both Toolshed and PyPi on search path.

• Phenix R24
  • Would like to have some progress to report in September meeting.
  • Should start with Tristan's fit ligand code and improve it
    • Make clearer command syntax and put command in daily build
    • Make independent of clipper and isolde modules
    • Make gui panel
    • Use a task so it does not freeze ChimeraX

• Change milestone on all 1.2 enhancement tickets that won't be in 1.2 to milestone 1.3 - Greg
• Check that all Toolshed bundles that install in 1.2 actually start -- add core<1.2 dependency to those that fail - Greg
