- Scooter plans
- Wynton investigation concluded.
- Scooter allowed to use UCSF computers for research purposes.
- Scooter will hopefully start 25% time recall position in October.
- Web site accessibility
- Federal web site accessibility requirments go into effect April 2026.
- UCSF requires web site accessibility fixes by Oct 1, 2025.
- Our RBVI site scored 50% on accessibility in UCSF scan results. Needs to be 95%.
- Probably main need is to have alternative text on images.
- Greg will get a list of problem pages and work on remediation.
- Wynton future
- UCSF IT will make a plan for how to absorb Wynton into the UCSF HPC Core facility at off-site Colab by end of September.
- Plan will describe need to assess which equipment can be used and change over from SGE to Slurm and account management.
- Plan will consider handling current peta-bytes of data on Wynton.
- Committee of 15 including Klim Verba is still discussing definition of data security levels, especially P2 vs P3.
- ChimeraX alias command
- Greg continues to improve the ability to custom define usage strings for aliased commands working with user Oliver Clarke.
- ChimeraX licensing email
- Discussed convering chimera licensing email from a mail alias to a mailman mailing list.
- Mailing list will archive all the messages so a record is kept.
- Greg will make change to a mailing list.
