• Elaine work
  • Elaine will switch to 4 days per week (80% time) starting September 1.
  • Has a document online called "What I do" with info about citations, web stie, testing, docs and licensing procedures.

• Cytoscape GPU nodes
  • Tom Ferrin investigating what the power and cooling requirements are for two 4-GPU nodes currently off in BH-101 to see if they can be turned on in N453 machine room.
  • Greg has purchase order describing those nodes: 4 Nvidia L40S GPUs, AMD Epyc 7543P 32-core CPU, 512 GB memory, 1 TB NVMe drive, 1 TB SATA SSD.

• NAS adminstrator access
  • We still do not have admin access to update Synology NAS filesystem on plato.
  • Greg continues to try to escalate the issue with UCSF IT.

• Foldseek
  • Elaine described technical details of Foldseek structure similarity searching from paper.
