• Wynton beegfs problems
  • Greg reports Wynton cluster has been very slow the past few days due to beegfs problems.
  • This has not effected plato cluster since most plato home directories are no longer on beegfs.

• Eric Phenix R24 progress
  • Improved local EM fitting results panel
  • Ligand fit, waiting for Phenix developers to add json output for results.

• Eric ChimeraX progress
  • Aded LAMMPS trajectory reader from Mitch Murphy
  • Profile grids saved in sessions.
  • Optimized reading large (10000 seq) sequence alignments.
  • Structure alignment can be done using sequence alignment now.

• Phenix R24 annual report
  • Report is due 60 days before July 1 grant start of year.
  • Will need to docusign report.
  • Some unspent funds on R24 could be used to fund work by Zach or Tom on Phenix projects.
  • Possible next Phenix tools: restraints and validation may be long projects.
  • Creating video tutorials for existing phenix tools would be useful outreach.
  • Posting on bluesky phenix tool highlights that point to web page examples could be made.
  • Next Phenix R24 developer meeting is Thursday March 13, 10 AM.

• Windows Subsystem for Linux
  • WSLg allows GUI apps to run on Linux under Windows.
  • User email suggests ChimeraX Qt does not work with it, Wayland support issue.
