  • Showed 3D Slicer
  • Compared to ChimeraX on TCIA database 3 study dataset with radio-therapy (RT) data
  • Showed Horos
  • Tom Ferrin says Horos last commit on github 2 years ago and web page says please donate money
  • Elaine notes Horos seems more polished than 3D Slicer with 3D Slicer crashing often.
  • Tom Ferrin notes Horos is for Mac, 3D Slicer is Linux, Mac, Windows.
  • TomG discussed that ChimeraX volume rendering does not have lighting so it cannot duplicate Horos and MRIcro renderings and presets.

• DICOM next steps
  • Need to focus on VR capabilities with DIICOM
  • Need to engage Jason Rubenstein to find out how VR can be useful for echocardiograms.

• Move toolshed to it's own IP address and it's own Apache instance -- Greg/Scooter
