• ChimeraX registration interval
  • Currently registering more than once if no visit to toolshed for 365 days.
  • Change to register only once after 15 days. All agree. Scooter will check with Tom Ferrin.

• ChimeraX major release notification
  • Have ChimeraX announce major 1.3, 1.4, ... updates announced by ChimeraX
  • Integrate this in toolshed for ChimeraX 1.3 release. Greg

• Security audit
  • Scooter says auditors suggesting can't copy system files on Linux as root.

• UCSF email
  • Many of us not using ucsf email.

• New job posting
  • Scooter had all paperwork in.
  • Have to ask Alma where things stand.

• AlphaFold fetch web service
  • Use chimera cgi for sequence search
  • Use /databases/mol/alphafold for blat database
  • Blat installed in /usr/local/bin on plato
  • Network file system may make this slower than on laptop, TomG will test

• Zach web services
  • Modeller is only chimerax web services besides blast
  • Blast is already using REST
  • Modeller has lots of options so is complicated
  • Easier web service REST intro would be
    • Add alphafold database to existing blast rest service and client
    • Add blat rest service for alphafold, can start from cgi script
