  • New M1pro and M1max arm64 processors significantly more powerful CPU/GPU
  • Should run ChimeraX benchmarks on these perhaps at an Apple store

• Phenix R24
  • Meeting this morning discussed Phenix/ChimeraX REST communication, Phenix mmCIF read/write speed optimization, Google Colab for Phenix tutorials.
  • Next technical meeting in 2 weeks, day and time to be scheduled.
  • Next monthly meeting in 3 weeks.

• Grant aims
  • Made Google doc for all ChimeraX grant aims and assigned lead developers to each
  • R01 grant will need progress report due May 2022
