  • Tom Ferrin suggests e-card only this year.
  • Scooter suggests next year we return to printed card.

• Chimera Wiki
  • Developer site now requires password because of http redirect to https
  • https was required by UCSF security
  • Scooter is looking for way to enable public access and Trac login
  • Problem is Trac login does not want to use our authentication database.

• Chimera 1.15 release
  • Fetch of PDB is caching html. Ask RCSB to give error or redirect. Jose Duarte at RCSB has added redirect so Chimera 1.14 and older can fetch PDB and mmCIF.
  • Scooter suggests release today or tomorrow
  • Put ignore cache advice in release notes (Eric)
  • After meeting Eric put code in to detect bad cache entries, release delayed until Monday at least.

  • Tom Ferrin working on enabling faster parallel encryption. Found out after meeting not supported on macOS so will stick with slower single thread encryption.
  • Elaine not able to change hal2 VPN password, tried and did not work
  • Scooter reset Elaine's vpn password

  • Tom G testing vr meeting bandwidth and speed improvements with Phil Cruz today.
