• Previous action items:
  • No updates on license text
  • IHM data is on plato
• Chimera 1.11 Release
  • There may still a MD simulation tool-related problem with non-ASCII filenames and we can't easily reproduce it.
    • Eric will spend 1 hour trying to reproduce this afternoon
    • Unless bug is "trivial" to fix change will go into daily build
  • Greg now has a working certificate for signing builds on Windows
    • Would be nice to begin using this so we build up our reputation
    • Will add this to daily build script but NOT 1.11 release
  • Greg will "pull the trigger" later this afternoon
• Windows ChimeraX builds
  • Windows build completes without installing PyQt, but does not run on all systems
    • To complete installation, user can say

      Chimera.app/bin/Chimera.exe -m pip install PyQt5
      

    • This work on Conrad's and Greg's machines, but not on two others
      • May need Visual Studio 2015 C++ runtime install
    • Conrad still working on Mac build with PyQt
• Next steps for ChimeraX
  • Linux Qt version starts but hangs system
  • (see minutes from 6/16/16 meeting)

Outstanding Action Items

• TomF will get answers for ChimeraX license
• Scooter will try ChimeraX on his home Windows10 system to provide another data point
• Greg will investigate problem with Linux Qt hanging system
• Conrad and TomG will start attending IHM monthly meetings immediately, irrespective of any data sets received from Ben
• Conrad will check whether new IHM data set is available
