• Symmetry web service - need documented API
  • Waiting on Andreas for documentation
• mmCIF support effort, Phenix and COOT
  • PDB asks for large files in mmCIF file using Phenix or CCP4. mmCIF from Phenix is first generated and then post-processed into acceptable submission form. Get Oliver to run the Phenix standalone program? (TomG) Also ask about CCP4 and RefMac mmCIF output.
  • Post-processed mmCIF output from Phenix (courtesy Oliver) opens in ChimeraX. Uses separate data sections for residue templates. ChimeraX currently scans but does not use the residue templates in the file. The added sequence table made ChimeraX work properly. Oliver had to supply a sequence file for the Phenix post-processor.

• Chimera 1.11 release:
  • Build with Tk 8.6.5- in daily build (​ticket 14424)
    • Mac - balloons not working quite right
    • Windows - needs to build on cazaril
    • Linux - need to be tested
  • Need to run test suite on all platforms and visually inspect display to see if Tk 8.6.5- is working properly
• Chimera home page is complete for now
  • URL in installer works
  • Need to make symlink in public tree to docs so that "preview" URLs do not appear in public pages (Scooter, Elaine)
  • Make sure preview.rbvi.ucsf.edu/chimerax works
  • Need to take out preview.rbvi.ucsf.edu from links
• Send out Chimera stereo announcement to chimera-users (Elaine)
• Need proposal for new restore API (ChimeraX team, TomG lead) to simplify writing session restore code for developers
• TomG is going to Phenix meeting
  • TomG will talk to other developers at Phenix meeting regarding whether entity_poly_seq is optional.
  • Greg will provide a list of mmCIF deficiencies for TomG to take to the meeting.
