• Preferences API
  • Greg went through an example of implementing the preferences API
  • Need to add autosave to preferences
  • Are preferences saved defaults or generalized settings?
    • Options:
      1. set can only be used to change current "settings": e.g. "set bg_color black", which would apply right away.
      2. set applies to both current "settings" and "preferences", but need a way to distinguish between the two
  • Suggestion: Preferences API is *only* for defaults written to disk

• TomF will contact original user of Sketchfab and find out whether it was really useful, and ask Darrell Hurt whether Sketchfab would be useful for his 3D printing pipeline
