• There will be no multisampling support for December release
• UI Usability Testing
  • Gary Olson at UCI offered to do UI testing for Chimera with students.
  • Do testing on Chimera 1, not Chimera 2. Use Chimera 1 as baseline and use testing results to guide Chimera 2 development.
• ctypes
  • TomG simplified wrapping of attributes for ctypes
    • Chimera 2 ctypes speed ~= Chimera 1 for setting colors
    • Chimera 2 only sets tuples while Chimera 1 creates MaterialColor instances
  • Really need molecular data Python API
    • Use ctypes implementation as initial prototype
    • Need guidelines for trade-offs between using Python API vs. blob/array API
• multifit
  • Chimera documentation already states resolution limits
  • We are contacting Andrej about their plans for multifit
• Progress updates
  • Eric: command history is not as done as we thought
  • Conrad: ribbon is in initial stages but smooth so far
  • Greg: session updated to include tool version number
    • models, tools and tasks have additional annotation for how they should be handled in sessions
