Resolution: can't reproduce

It appears the hdf reader returned an array for a single plane that did not have the correct dimensions. The axis perpendicular to the plane did not have size 1 in the array. This seems to have happened when "volume #1 step 2" was used. But just a few commands earlier in the log, the same command produced no error.
