Description
There should be a command that reports the folder location for various types of files (histories, preferences, downloaded data, etc.)

Elaine is correct in the "info path" now serves this purpose, though perhaps in not quite as a user-friendly way as one might like. Nonetheless, since it's not an everyday command and therefore you will have to look it up anyway, it's probably fine as is.
