Description

Elaine: I am using features that are clearly brand new, like Zach's Segmentations tool and the "maxPae" keyword of "alphafold contacts" .... yet "version" gives the 4/27 date (see screenshot below). At first I thought it might be because the icon on my desktop is actually a pointer to /Users/chimera/Applications/ChimeraX_Daily.app, but I also tried manually downloading the daily build just now and it has the same issue.

Eric: looking at chimerax.core.logger.log_version(), it seems that the core bundle version info is not being updated, nor is chimerax.core.buildinfo

I infer that this bug was added fairly recently, because a daily build from 6/22 (on my laptop at home) does say 6/22 in the version info:

We discussed/investigated this in the programmer's and believe identified the problem. Hopefully fixed in tomorrow's build.

The bug was using the date the author made the commit instead of the date that the commit was put on the develop branch.
