It looks like you were able to start ChimeraX, open ligand.pdb, and then it died? Please try a different Nvidia graphics driver. See ​https://www.cgl.ucsf.edu/chimerax/issues.html#linux_graphics. Please let us know what you try and what works or doesn't work. I'd also recommend updating to ChimeraX 1.6.

Greg, the Log in this report is from the session that reported the crash. The log for the session that crashed would have a header saying it is the log from the crash, and wasn't included in this report for some reason.

It looks like the crash was at ChimeraX startup, because OpenGL was not able to start. That sometimes happens on Linux when the user it attempting to use remote display and it is not configured right.
