ChimeraX hung at startup for several minutes querying Toolshed

Description
Linux ChimeraX hung at startup on minsky.cgl.ucsf.edu apparently querying Toolshed which was probably not responding due to the toolshed server being down. The main ChimeraX window was blank the whole time.

This was with ChimeraX 1.6.1.
I've attached a screenshot of ChimeraX after about 10 minutes. Could not report the bug directly because plato servers were down.
