Hi Hamish,

Thanks for reporting this problem. I recommend you upgrade to the ChimeraX 1.5 release candidate. First, there have been many bugs since the 1.2.5 release that you are using, so the problem may simply be fixed by upgrading. Second, the 1.6 release candidate has more thorough bug reporting than the 1.2.5 release, so even if the error still occurs we will have a much better chance of debugging it from the info in a 1.6 report.
