Description

Hello,

This is very specific, but I would like to report. In 1.5, custom presets with "close session" command followed by opening a file (pdb, mrc) resets all the graphic settings (background, silhouette, lighting, etc). This doesn't happen in 1.4. Nothing shows up in the log.

Thank you!
Matt

Yes. We made "close session" reset the graphical settings like background color, silhouette edges, and lighting in ChimeraX 1.5 as described in

https://www.rbvi.ucsf.edu/trac/ChimeraX/ticket/7406

Sorry to change the behavior from 1.4 to 1.5 but we felt this was a bug in 1.4 that it did not reset all of the session settings.

If you only want the models closed but not all the session settings reset then just use the command "close" instead of "close session".

Thanks Tom! That makes sense. I will change my commands to "close" then.
