11You are running CentOS 7.  My guess is that you tried to install the generic version of ChimeraX and it didn't work.  Is that correct?  CentOS 7 is too old to run the  current version of ChimeraX. The last version of ChimeraX that worked on CentOS 7 was version 1.3.  And when you install the rpm, it will install the prerequisites, like libGLU.  Another problem you have is that your system is using the open source version of the Nvidia graphics driver.  You need to install the proprietary Nvidia driver.  See https://www.cgl.ucsf.edu/chimerax/issues.html#linux_graphics.

3 I strongly recommend that you update the operating system to one that is compatible with RHEL 8 pr 9 instead of RHEL 7, so you can run the current version of ChimeraX.
