ChimeraX does not start because the Qt window toolkit fails to create an OpenGL graphics context apparently due to a problem to the two connected displays one using Intel graphics and the other using AMD graphics.

Online info suggests this might be a Mac problem with displays connected by DisplayLink. ​https://github.com/spyder-ide/spyder/issues/12601

I guess ChimeraX would start fine with a single monitor. It normally works fine with multiple monitors but some Mac problem with the specific two monitors and the monitors using different graphics hardware is very likely causing the problem. There is nothing we can do to fix this. Sorry.

This particular model of MacBookPro16,1 is responsible for almost every graphics related reported error in ChimeraX. The new M1 and M2 Macs are completely reliable.
