Moving the window caused the bug. Have to restart to recover and moving it again causes the bug again.(Describe the actions that caused this problem to occur here)

This is almost surely a graphics driver problem. I see you are using Nvidia graphics driver version 516.59 which is from June 28, 2022, quite new. If there is a newer driver I would update to that, and if not you may need to go back to an older Nvidia driver to get ChimeraX to work.

Are you moving the window between two screens or just on a single screen? Between screens I think is more likely to hit a graphics driver bug. At any rate, the only way to fix this is to replace the buggy driver.

We've seen this error reported before. It is getting an "expose" event and trying to redraw the status line.
