Menus obscured

Description
Hello,  I am experiencing some trouble with the Software display. I can’t see the main menu of the program. The tab holding the  ChimeraX  name covers the whole menu making it difficult to use the software.

Hi Mariella,

Thanks for reporting this problem. I would recommend upgrading to the ChimeraX 1.4 release, which uses an entirely new version of the Qt windowing toolkit and therefore has a decent chance of fixing this problem without you doing anything else. Let me know if it helps.

Hi Eric

I upgraded to ChimeraX 1.4 but the problem is still there. The log window now displays a message which is found in the attached image.

What should I do now? Thanks in advance for your help.

The error in the screenshot says your graphics driver isn't working right.  The error is about the Qt window toolkit use of graphics, the code shown is not from ChimeraX.  The solution is probably to update your Intel graphics.  The one you currently have (version 21.20.16.4639) is from 2017.
