Status: assigned → closed

This error happens when ChimeraX checks to see if it crashed the last time you used it so it can allow you to report the crash. But ChimeraX does not have permission to read the crash log directory on your computer, and that gives this error. This was fixed about a year ago so ChimeraX won't give an error if it cannot read your crash log directory. Update to current ChimeraX 1.4 if you want to avoid this error.
