Description
Feature request: it would be great if the ChimeraX save window had the same sidebar as the default Mac save navigator window,  or if it just was the default navigator window.  I'm sure you've thought about this.  The reason I suggest this is that Box Drive in particular stores its files in a relatively esoteric directory (~/Library/Cloud Storage/Box-Box/) at least on Mac,  and it's tiresome to navigate there every time I open ChimeraX again and want to save something.  Thanks for consideration!

Hi Jack,

Unfortunately we cannot use the native save dialog because you can't add additional widgets to it (such as the "Include maps" checkbox" shown in the dialog image you included). What you can do is this: after navigating to a folder that you know you will use again, you can drag it onto the "Look in:" area on the left and drop it. It will then be there the next time you use the dialog and you should be able to get there in one click.
