Description
Last time you used ChimeraX it crashed.
Please describe steps that led to the crash here. 
I was trying to do multiprocessing with chimeraX with its python shell.  I used pool.map(my_func, input_list) where my_func defined a centroid at a given residue number from input_list. I used pool = multiprocessing.Pool(processe=4).
I am new to multiprocessing and I could have done something wrong here.

Hi Shubham,

What you are trying to do will not work because creating a centroid in a forked subprocess will have no effect on the parent process. Your attempt likely crashed because ChimeraX is a frozen executable and as per the multiprocessing documentation: "The 'spawn' and 'forkserver' start methods cannot currently be used with “frozen” executables " and Windows defaults to 'spawn'. Even if you used threading, which at least executes in the same process, you would likely get a crash because the relevant C++ code is not thread safe.
