Fixed.
User used clip mouse mode and made clip planes then used tape measure mouse mode and clip planes clipped entire ray under mouse causing an error in the tape measure mode because it assumed that the ray between clip planes would always exist.
It would be helpful if there were an obvious way to turn off clip planes after using clip mouse mode.
