    1 The updates dialog is automatically triggered when there are newer versions of bundles on the toolshed.  But it does more filtering, so only the new bundles that are actually compatible with the current system are shown.  So the list of updates bundles could end up being empty.  So when the dialog is automatically triggered, it will close itself if there is nothing to show.
